October 2010
Hey Tiff!
I’m glad you like the slippers!!! They really are cuter in person— and I didn’t think that was possible!!! :o)
And that extra clip was for being an awesome Tumblr friend! I’m so glad you like it!
(For those of you not in the loop: Tiff bought an absolutely ADORABLE pair of baby bunny slippers from my Etsy store, How Cute! Couture. Check it out here: www.howcutecouture.etsy.com)
September 2010
- Picked up cousin from the air port
- Went swimming at the pool on base
- Went to Chinese food
- Got snacks at the grocery store
- Drove to the movie set at the port and walked around. It looks like a spooky broken carnival. Abbey was scared!
- Went to the fountains, played in the water
- Currently: watching Beetlejuice and listening to her snore!
What should I get…
ceviche or a shrimp louie?
2 hours and 42 minutes left until my first batch of online auctions end.
Three pair of cowboy boots and 32 flour sack towels!
I’m a little scared of being home Aline right now, even though our robber incident was only car headlights.
My dog is the reason I’m scared. He’s always such a chicken; he wants his dad to come home.
Hah!
Alright, I’ve got to try to sleep!
I would like to personally tell all of my wonderful followers:
I love you! You are the best virtual friends a girl could ask for!

My mood is significantly better now. No wonder I was cranky earlier- I was starving! After walking 11+ miles in the past two days it’s really jump-started my metabolism.
So, I searched the internet for good sushi spots and came up empty handed. I can’t believe there’s no good sushi here! It’s weird!
I decided getting in the car and just going somewhere would be the right idea. Thankfully, my favorite little taco stand was open. I got four tacos for $4 and spared myself the $30 I would have spent on sushi.
Now I’m much happier. The Simpsons and all those animation shows are on tonight. YES!
It’s hard going from having so much fun hanging out with my mom and husband to being home alone. The house is too quiet. I’m being too lazy to finish the rest of my chores. Plus, I’m craving sushi!
Okay, bitch session is over.
It’s sweltering here.
99 degrees.
We don’t have air conditioning— nobody does here.
I’m lonely. That makes me a little depressed.
This morning after a simply delicious breakfast and a five mile urban hike (read: hilly, challenging walk) my mother left. She packed her things, loaded her dog in the car and began the six hour drive home. Our time with her flew by! She was only here from Friday evening to this morning. I wish she could have stayed a week.
Just a few minutes ago my husband left, toting his big black duffel bag. He’ll hop on a plane to San Francisco and attend a three day class there. I’m so jealous! He gets to eat all the good sushi and go to all of our old haunts. Oh well, usually it’s me getting to have all the fun.
Now it’s just myself and the dog, laying here on the couch, basking in the silence. The weather here is so gorgeous, I almost want to go outside and get a tan. I won’t, however, because I’ll be at the pool all day Tuesday. No use being in the sun too much, I don’t want wrinkles!
I’m excited to pick up my cousin tomorrow. Three days with an awesome 12 year old will be invigorating! We’ll be go-go-going the whole time. Walks, pool, parks, aquarium, movies, baking, and finally (when the weather isn’t 100 degrees!) DISNEYLAND!!!
Woo hoo!!!!
I can’t forget to take a million pictures!
There are still a few things I need to do:
- Grocery shopping: pistachios, beef jerky, bbq rice cakes
- Wash sheets
- Straighten up the house a little
- List on eBay: cell phone, Medifast food and book, Hobo International clutch
