Make four recipes from the Pioneer Woman cookbook

Try for a baby and have fun with it!
Lose 10 more pounds
Walk 50 miles
Eat more fruit, less bread
Get my Etsy shop up and running!
Go to the beach at least once a week
Write (poetry, essays, etc.) at least three times a week
Send in old Mac laptop for insurance

I'm here, finally...
After five and a half hours of driving I’m finally back home. It didn’t take as long as I thought it would, the most annoying part was the L.A. traffic.
(As I type this an ice cream truck is driving by, playing “Do Your Ears Hang Low” and kids are screaming!)
It feels so good to be home. To know that he’ll be home very soon.

Check and see if you, any family members or friends, have any unclaimed money.
I found $3000 for an aunt today. $125 for a friend, too. $40 for my parents.
Sadly, none for me.
Tonight:
We had sushi. It was delicious.
Then we had ice cream. It was phenomenal.
I didn’t get to talk to my husband.
I need to finish packing, but I probably won’t.
Is my last night in my hometown.

An Important TTC Revelation
It took my husband and I a long time to wrap our heads around the fact that yes, indeed, we do want children and we’d like to start trying now.
Some night while laying in bed we would picture our future life together and children were always present. Though we never said it outright, “We want kids.”Sometimes it even involved us chasing each other around the house and screaming...
Have I mentioned that I should be packing?
Yes, yes.
I should be gathering all of my belongings together for the long, long, long drive home.
Six hours in a car with only a dog as a companion is considered torture by my standards.
Here’s my list of things to remember:
Suitcase
Makeup, toiletries
Perfume, hair dyes
All sewing stuff
Shoes
Dog bed, dog toys, leash
Phone charger
Teapot lamp
Pillow

Drinking wine and dieting don’t go very well together, in my opinion.
I went out with my best friend last night and had four glasses of wine, which is a bit much. Though usually I’m fine because I have a lot of food in my belly.

I’m going to post this just for my own records.
The OPK I’m doing has yet to show any signs of a jackpot.
But, about an hour ago when I went to the restroom my CM was the consistency of egg whites. I only find it when I wipe, never in my underwear.
Have I ovulated? Maybe. Am I still going to continue with the OPK? Yes.
Do I still hope there’s a shot for us this month?...

Still no pink line
I’m continuing with the OPK I bought. It’s CD 15 and still no dark pink line signaling my LH surge.
Of only the line signaling ovulation could hold out three more days, then we would have a good chance of making a baby this month.
I just hope it shows I ovulate at all…

My First Week Back on the Wagon
So, I completed my first official week back on Weight Watchers. I dieted and exercise alone for the two weeks before that and lost six pounds during that time.
The first week back on the wagon is always a hard one for me. I was stressed due to family drama, went to two parties, had some problems with tracking and really slowed down the exercise.
And I still lost 3 pounds!

Well, according to the OPK kit, I don’t ovulate on CD 14.
That’s fine by me, I’d really like to hold out for another five or so days.
I just hope that I do ovulate at some point during the month.
