Hahahah… Yeah, it’s pretty freakin’ hard!!!
Now that I’m visiting my family in my hometown I’m not going as much… There are a couple of gyms here, but I don’t want to pay for classes when I already have a plan at a gym back in our duty station city of LA.
Believe me, once I get home I’ll go a lot more! I love it. Plus, my family and friends have commented on my weight loss! Score!
If you’re blacking out, you shouldn’t push it so hard! What was the workout? Let me know how it goes next time!
There’s been a new development. Instead of my husband going out of town next week, he was called away yesterday with only a few hours notice. He had to go home, pack his bags and drive almost ten hours north to EMT school.
My husband has wanted to go to EMT school since he enlisted in the USCG. Until now, it’s just never worked out for him. He’s put in for it a couple of times, but other things have had priority.
Yesterday afternoon he called.
“Mmmmmmmmm (this went on for a minute, me making this noise) Yellow?” If you say it out loud to yourself it’s much funnier. It sounds like an old lady.
“Babe.” The tone in his voice was different.
“Yeah, what’s up?”
“I’m leaving for EMT school in a minute. I’ve put a hold on the mail and cleaned out the fridge, do you want me to do anything else?” The tone was urgency.
“No….”
“Okay, I love you.” He said.
Then it hit me. “Congratulations babe! I can’t believe you finally got EMT school!”
“Thanks lover. I’ve gotta go, I have a ten hour drive ahead of me.”
“Be safe, I love you.” I told him.
Now I’ll be here in my hometown for three weeks instead of two. I had a feeling something like this was coming… it’d been too long since he’s been sent anywhere.
I hope I packed enough underwear!
:)
Good things come in threes.
I love being a redhead… even though I dye my hair red. I feel like red is truly my personality! And red haired babies are the most adorable things ever! If you had one with Kyler I would come steal it in a minute! :oP
U.S.S. LADY RED
Sometimes I miss those past
waves I sailed, the vessels I passed.
Codes broken and safety violations,
I was a vigilante sailing in the night.
No black night or blue uniform
could anchor me down. I was
rope in his propeller, yanked him,
immobilized; just kept floating.
An unforgettable undertow.
